5 straight wins for Saint Mary’s College Basketball

Posted January 29, 2013 by in – Saint Mary’s Gaels Matt Dellavedova is having an MVP season so far. The senior captain scored 10 points and also had 10 assist in the victory over visiting Pepperdine. Stephen Holt scored 17 points, Mitchell Young had 12, Brad Waldow scored 13 points and Beau Levesque scored team high 19 points to go along with his 5 rebounds.
Pepperdine started off hot making shots after shots. Jordan Baker led the Waves and all scorers with 20 points while Lorne Jackson contributed 16.
But in the end the home team took the victory by 12 points. Saint Mary’s improved their record to 17-4 overall, 6-1 in WCC. They have won 5 straight.
