Cardinal Adds Miezan | Two-sport standout selects Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. – Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football David Shaw announced Tuesday that Ricky Miezan will continue his academic and athletic career at Stanford.

Miezan, an inside linebacker from Alexandria, Virginia, joins 14 student-athletes who earlier signed a National Letter of Intent. Four more officially confirmed their enrollment at Stanford in December.

Miezan is a two-sport standout who began playing football during his junior year at Episcopal (Va.). He’s also one of the nation’s top-rated lacrosse players. He was an all-state football performer in 2017 while posting 55 tackles and seven sacks.
