GSFWeekly – USC beat Stanford, De La Salle continues streak, Cal is 2-0

Posted September 11, 2014 by in – After a long summer, Bay Area football is now officially back in full swing. The Valley Christian Warriors shut out Pioneer 55-0 to win the second GSF Game of the Week of 2014. De La Salle continued its domination of NorCal teams, beating Serra 41-13. Stanford fell to USC 13-10, ending the longest college football home-game winning streak in the nation at 17. Finally, Cal QB Jared Goff led the Golden Bears to a 55-14 rout of Sacramento State with four touchdowns to start the season off 2-0 for the first time since 2011.
