Mack Attack was subdued by sharp shooting Bells – Bellarmine Beats McClymonds and advances to the NorCal D-1 Final Four

GetSportsFocus.com – The Bells were ringing tonight after Bellarmine defeated McClymonds 64-46 in the second round of the NorCal Division One playoffs. Bellarmine is now 21-9 overall and 16-0 out of the WCAL.

Senior guard Blair Mendy started the game off hot with ten points in the first half, finishing with 12. Grant Vermeer, another senior had ten points while fellow senior Jackson Gion was the x-factor with 14 points. Gion knocked down four three-pointers tonight, helping the Bells pull away in the second half.

Captain and senior guard Eric Jones led McClymonds with 13 points as the Warriors finish their season with a 22-8 record. The last time the Warriors played the Bells was at home in December when they lost 62-53 in overtime.

Bellarmine will face Deer Valley (25-5) in Antioch next Tuesday in the regional semi-finals.
