FLASHBACK FRIDAY – 2011 National Player of the Year Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis interview with Chuck Fisher

Posted March 29, 2013 by in – Sports Focus host Chuck Fisher goes ONE on ONE with the Girls Basketball National Player of the Year for 2011.  The UConn bound Mater Dei senior, Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 33 points in the state championship game against Berkeley H.S. and was also named the game MVP.

Kaleena is currently playing for UConn and they are in the Sweet 16.

Kaleena is a 19 year old sophomore and just broke UConn’s single-season record for most three-pointers.  That record was broken against Vanderbilt in the second round of the Women’s NCAA Tournament.  The Huskies won 77-44 and Kaleena dropped her 108th three of the season.  That’s a lot of points and she’ll have two more years to out do herself.
