Luke Bottari is a sophomore quarterback for the 2016 CIF State Division 2-A NorCal Champions Serra Padres.
Luke started five games and played a major role in the Padres’ 2016 season. He completed 79 out of 138 attempts for 1,123 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Serra(10-5, 6-1) also finished the season as WCAL Co-Champions along with St. Francis and Valley Christian.

Luke Bottari is an intelligent QB with an amazing work ethic and dedication for a 15 year old.
Luke was pulled up to play varsity football as a sophomore where he started five games for the 2016 CIF Division 2-A NorCal Champions Serra Padres.
He was the starting freshman quarterback for the Padres’ freshman team in the 2015 season leading the team to an undefeated record and WCAL sole title.
Luke is a strong 5’11”, 170lb dual sport athlete, also plays on Serra’s baseball team.
With a strong, accurate arm, Luke has the ability to make all three throws with amazing consistence. He has great timing and an uncanny anticipation along with the ability to quickly progress through reads and defensive coverages like an upperclassman, making him a powerful offensive threat.
Luke is a passionate learner, as well as a student athlete with a strong GPA including honors curriculum. This, along with his hardworking nature and enthusiasm for all facets of the game makes him a natural leader and thrill to coach.
