Tommy Dunham is a bruiser-type player. As a sophomore, Dunham played linebacker and running back for the Warriors’ JV squad. Unfortunately, a knee injury sidelined him halfway thru the season, and he wasn’t able to be called up for varsity later on during the playoffs. That was the year the Valley Christian Warriors ended up at the biggest stage of high school football, the CIF State Championship.

Having endured the setback of his injury, Dunham worked his tail off with the help of independent trainer and coach AJ Rangel of Pro-Sport Training aka PST. PST is an 18-year old establishment specializing in speed, strength and agility training during the season, as well as the off-season.

“He’s a hard worker and and a determined individual. He’s around great competitors and competes hard all the time.” said Rangel of his four-year trainee.

VCHS was set to make another run for the league title in 2017. He played behind SJSU football signee Charlie Bostic, Washington State signee D’Angelo McKenzie (both of whom are 3-star national recruits), as well as DE star RJ Stone, a Washington State signee, for most of the season. Despite a stacked roster with multiple D1 prospects on both sides of the ball, Dunham still found his way on the field to make a contribution.

Dunham is looking forward to making his mark in 2018.
