Cal Keeps Home Mojo Going With 2OT Win Over Oregon

Posted October 22, 2016 by in

BERKELEY – The Cal football team is making a habit of saving its biggest plays for late nights in Berkeley, and with a second overtime nearly taking Friday’s game against Oregon into Saturday morning, one massive defensive play made all the difference for a group of Bears that has no problem staying up past its bedtime to come away with a win.

An interception by linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk provided the game-clinching play and the Cal football team claimed its fifth-straight home win and eighth in its last nine games at Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium as the Bears defeated the Ducks 52-49 in double overtime.
