GSFWeekly – Cal Wins in Double OT, Stanford heads to Notre Dame

Posted October 2, 2014 by in – Cal QB Jared Goff threw seven touchdowns and finished 23-for-41 with 449 yards and one interception.

Colorado WR Nelson Spruce broke his own record from the week before, with 19 receptions in a game. 19 receptions for 176 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Stanford defense has given up 13 points in four games heading into Notre Dame this weekend.

SJSU is in a must win situation as they take on UNLV at home for homecoming.

In high school news, #1 St. John Bosco lost a nail biter to #2 Bishop Gorman while the Kings of NorCal De La Salle stomped on SoCal’s Servite 47-24. The Spartans are averaging 53 points per game so far this season.
