Senior Night at Santa Clara – SCU took on LMU for their last home game of the season

GetSportsFocus.com – All five of SCU’s seniors were honored before tip-off Thursday night. Seniors Marc Trasolini, Kevin Foster, and Raymond Cowels III combined for 55 points, dominating Loyola Marymount. The Broncos defeated the Lions 79-56 and are now 21-9 overall.

Marc Trasolini was 9 of 12 from the field, scoring 26 points in his last home game at the Leavey Center. Kevin Foster was 5 of 6 from three-point range, totaling 17 points. Raymond Cowels contributed 12 points, respectively.

Anthony Ireland attempted 22 shots and scored 23 points for the Lions who have lost 13 in a row. Alex Osborne had 10 rebounds and scored a career-high 15 points.

LMU (8-21, 1-14 WCC) will host BYU on Saturday to finish the regular season. Santa Clara (21-9, 9-6 WCC) is now third place in the West Coast Conference after BYU lost to Gonzaga tonight. SCU will visit Saint Mary’s on Saturday to close out the season.
