Milpitas vs Palo Alto – GetSportsFocus Football 2013
GetSportsFocus.com – Game of the Week #9, Milpitas Trojans came in the game against Palo Alto determined to win and spoil another opposing team’s homecoming. Both teams battled to the end. Trojans’ DB Duane Jones took the #PlayMaker honors when he picked off a pass from Palo Alto QB Keller Chryst with a minute left in the game. Jones had two huge interceptions late in the fourth which took away any chances of the Vikings winning the game. The GetSportsFocus.com #MVP was awarded to Milpitas RB Squally Canada. Canada scored his first TD of the game in the second half following a long pass play from Trojans QB Ronnie Reed to Trey Hartley. Canada scored the go-ahead TD late in the fourth when Reed, just dumped the ball off to him as if to say “here… take it to the house.” and that’s exactly what Canada did 57 yards later.
In a game which featured numerous #PlayMakers, this match up might have a sequel when CCS play-offs take place in a few weeks. One things for sure, Palo Alto will bounce back and Milpitas will plan to dominate the rest of their schedule.
