Pro-Sport Training

EST 2001

Head Coach: AJ Rangel

March 6, 2018 San Jose, CA – Pro-Sport Training finished second in the inaugural GSF 7v7 Rapid Fire Tournament that took place at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA. The South Bay was well represented as PST, an 18-year old establishment, squared off against first-year team GRINDMODE (also from San Jose).
Pro-Sport came into the tournament with many unknown players, but when the dust settled, the best player, the tournament MVP, was awarded to one of its student-athletes.
Junior Ethan Janto showed off his speed, strength and talent, snagging footballs in the air like a young Gronk. Janto plays QB for his high school team because he’s the best athlete on the squad.

This is a major benefit of playing off season 7v7. For guys like Janto, opportunities to blow past defenders, catch passes at the highest point, and show off strong hands and concentration thru traffic to catch passes in tight windows are something that he can never do during the regular season unless he’s able to throw a pass to himself.
Unanimously voted as the GSF 7v7 Rapid Fire Tournament MVP, Janto hopes that someone will see his athletic ability and take a chance. He’s ready for the opportunity and maintains a 4.0 GPA. Janto is a real Student-Athlete that is set to play at the next level.
