As expected, the Saint Francis Lancers dominated in the 42-12 win over the Leland Chargers. The Lancers rush attack was unstoppable with three backs totaling 286 yards on 27 carries.

Saint Francis was effective in the air as well. QB Kamalii Akina completed three touchdowns on just nine attempts. The passing game was highlighted by Trill Hebert’s 26 yard touchdown reception before the end of the half making it a 21-7 game.

The Lancers defense disrupted the Charger offense all night, especially the passing game. QB Kevin Cance struggled to find a rhythm and was only able to complete three of his nine passes for 22 yards and had one interception.

With tonight’s victory, the Lancers will take on league rival Mitty in next week’s championship game.
