College Park got their third straight NorCal win on the road against a very tough St. Francis squad for a trip to the Regional Finals

Posted March 14, 2013 by in – Three-point showers rained on the nets inside the Raskob Memorial Gym on Tuesday night as the College Park Falcons (25-5) defeated the St. Francis Lancers (14-17) in an 85-82 thriller. The NorCal Division Two semifinal was an epic game as both teams combined for 26 three-pointers.

Falcons guard Mikey Eggleton led his team with a game-high 23 points, knocking down three shots from beyond the arc. Seb Flores made a three-pointer to ice the game with 12 seconds left, scoring 14 points on the night.

Khalil Johnson led the Lancers with 20 points as his twin brother, Khalid re-injured his ankle early in the fourth quarter. Senior Michael Lauck made five three-pointers and finished the game with 19 points. Trailing 81-79, Khalid Johnson returned to the game with 28 seconds remaining. Moments later he made his last three-pointer of his high school career with 0.5 seconds left, making the final score 85-82.

This win sends College Park to their first NorCal final as they face Dublin this Saturday.
