DRIVEN to make a difference | Luke Bottari • Serra HS

“Driven to Make a Difference” is a new GSF segment presented by the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation

Luke Bottari is student-athlete from Serra HS who recently lost a dear friend to suicide. The life changing event prompted the high school junior to start a foundation called Play4P (PLAY4PREVENTION) that is focused on bringing awareness to teen suicide. The non-profit website is and Luke hopes to provide resources to teens going through tough times.

As a quarterback for one of the top high school football programs in the Bay Area, Luke is driven to make a difference in people’s lives with the help and support of his family and Padre community.
