After loosing four straight games to San Ramon in the past two years, Monte Vista ended the Wolves season with a 9-6 thriller win. Kicker Nathan Price went 3/3 kicking a 24-yarder and a 19-yarder in the third and a 33-yarder with seven seconds left in regulation to put up the Monte Vista Mustangs 9-6.
QB Jack Stewardson orchestrated three key drives that led to each of Price’s field goals with his favorite target 3-star national recruit Nate Ruchena. Stewardson led the offense inside the Wolves 20 with less than 60 seconds left on the clock. His biggest play was a 25 yard pass to Connor Shay up the middle that led to Price’s game-winner.
