GetSportsFocus.com – The rivalry between the Menlo-Atherton Bears and the Gators of Sacred Heart Prep was renewed this week as the visiting team looked to secure the top spot in league. But it didn’t come easy. The Gators was in control for most of the game until the third when the Bears scored three momentum shifting goals that gave them the lead and never looked back. Each time SHP tried to come back, MA had an answer. Nick Schein was netted 4 out of his six shots for the Bears. Sean Mayle got off to a great start for SHP with 3 goals in the first but MA got it together in the second half and took the game 12-10.
