WCAL | Serra Wins First Outright WCAL Title in 48 years
Final: Serra 31 / SFHS 21

Luke Bottari and Chris Park led their Padre Mafia over St. Francis.
Bottari connected with Park twice for a touchdown. He was 15/23 for 345 yards and three touchdowns.
Park, the transfer from Carlmont was targeted by the Lancers’ offense most of the night but he got payback on offense scoring on two of Bottari’s touchdown passes. Park also had a momentum stopping interception late in the first half and touchdown saving tackle in the third.
Washington State commit Patrick Nunn had three catches and a touchdown but was key on defense late in the game sacking SF QB to end the Lancers’ final drive.
With the win, the Padres earned their first outright WCAL title in 48 years. They have now won 4 league titles in the last five years.
