Another big week in the NFL coming up. This is the crunch time portion of the year with each team only have six or seven games left. The road to the playoffs is on. Let’s get to the picks. I’m feeling excited about the games again so I’m going for them all. 49ers are on a bye so we just have the local Raiders taking the gridiron Sunday.
Vikings @ Raiders- Pick: Vikings
The Raiders really let me down last week. I pick them, they lose. I don’t pick them? They win. I don’t get it. What I do get is the defense of the Raiders looked very poor last week against the run and pass and they have a very tough opponent this week. Who is that person you may ask? Adrian Peterson. He has been looking unstoppable all year and it will continue versus Oakland. The Raiders are beat up on both sides of the ball and the Vikings are on a run to the NFC North title. Vikings will win this one.
Bills @ Jets- Pick: Bills
You know I love me some Fitzmagic and the Jets. However, Rex Ryan is coming back to town and his Bills are back to form. They looked dominant last week against the Dolphins and I think the two headed monster of McCoy and Williams run all over the Jets.
Jaguars @ Ravens- Pick: Jaguars
I am so impressed with how well the Jags pass offense has been. Blake Bortles has been showing he is going to be a great QB one day. I expect them to keep it rolling against a very poor Ravens secondary.
Panthers @ Titans- Pick: Panthers
I really like what the Titans are doing. After the firing of their head coach their offense exploded. Credit to Mariota for looking like he should. With that said, the Panthers are on their way to the top seed in the NFC and possibly a spot in the Super Bowl. They won’t lose.
Cowboys @ Bucs- Pick: Cowboys
Six straight losses by Dallas… It is very sad to write this as a die-hard fan but it is true. I will tell you right now, Tony Romo is the MVP of the team and needs to be voted as the MVP of the league. Who else plays as big of a roll in his team’s games? Anyways, Cassel looked good last week and he will take advantage at a poor pass defense in Tampa. Here’s hoping the defense of the Cowboys decides to play against a hot young star in Jameis Winston.
Dolphins @ Eagles- Pick: Eagles
The Eagles have a pretty solid defense and a good running game. They are definitely built to win in November and December and they will show it against the Dolphins. Bold prediction? Ryan Mathews and DeMarco Murray go for 100+ each.
This will be a very competitive game between McCown and Landry Jones. I expect DeAngelo Williams to run wild and the Steelers will get the win at home. If Johnny Football plays, they win this game. Just sayin.
Bears looked pretty good last week against the Chargers on the road. The Rams looked pretty good on the road against the Vikings. I give the advantage to the Rams in this case. Todd Gurley had a slow week but he will take over this week.
There is no way that the Packers lose three straight. This is even more confirmed due to the fact that the Pack is at home. Ugly game. Go Pack Go.
The Saints may have the worst defense in the league. Mix that with a healthy Desean Jackson back in the fold for the Skins and I think that Kirk Cousins will lead his team to victory. Saints can’t play in the cold and you know it will be cold.
Patriots @ Giants- Pick: Patriots
Eli Manning is 3-1 versus the Pats. Undefeated in the Super Bowl. Gronk has NEVER beaten the G-men. That changes Sunday. The Patriots are simply too good and I question the Giants defense, especially against the pass. Big day for Brady coming.
Cardinals @ Seahawks- Pick:Seahawks
What a great game this will be. Sunday Night football at the Clink. Both teams are coming off of a bye but it will come down to one thing. That killer instinct to win. Against winning teams this season, the Cardinals have failed to get a victory. They have a good record but is it really convincing? Fire up the 12s, it’s going to be a loud one.
Do I need to explain this? Bengals defense has been great. Adam Jones has been lock down. Andy Dalton, the red rifle, has been slinging it as good as anyone. AJ Green is a beast. Bengals won’t lose in the regular season. How’s that for a prediction?
