The first ever GSF Super Team Seniors 7v7 Tournament turned out to be a showcase for former Mitty Alums Wills Towers, Danny Scudero, Justice Toavalu along with several Class of 2023s from the Bay Area. Six teams competed and the team High Intensity took the championship away from the host team GSF Unlimited in the final drive of the championship game.
Both teams traded blows in the first 17 minutes of the game. Parker Threatt(2024) of Bellarmine led his squad in good scoring position to drain the remaining time in their final drive but a deflected ball ended up in the cradle of Toavalu. That iced the game for High Intensity 24-21.
The next GSF Super Team Seniors 7v7 Tournament “Showcase” is set for February 19th at Oak Grove High School.
