It’s always great to witness and see the future ballers in the Bay Area. Activated, a 14U team from Atherton is full of talent. They won the first-ever GSF South Bay Shootout 14U Tournament in a close game against One9’s Finest, an Elevate 7v7 14U team from Stockton. One9’s Finest won the first-ever GSF Rapid Fire 14U Tournament a little over a month ago.

Led by 7th grade QB1 Rome Pritchard, Activated took the top seed right from the get-go and edged out their opponent in the finals 14-7. With less than 2 minutes left in the game, Pritchard connected with future Valley Christian Warriors Riley McElvane twice and scored the game-winning touchdown. Pritchard was awarded the tournament MVP.

With the win, Activated qualifies for the GSF 7v7 Tournament Series “The Big Open,” to be played at Menlo-Atherton on April 30th.
