Stephen Amoako, owner, and founder of Train Deliberate (DT), has been developing athletes in the off-season for years. His training program, Deliberate Training, aka DT, has been instrumental in the success of many young athletes looking to take their game to the next level. Amoako, an Illinois State Football Alum and former collegiate football player at the University of Oregon has been making a name for himself as a top trainer in the Greater Bay Area.
In 2022, Amoako won his first GSF 7v7 Championship at the GSF Top Gun HS Tournament. This was a significant accomplishment for Amoako and his training program, as DT would go on a prominent run playing and winning 7v7 tournaments nationwide. However, Amoako’s success did not stop there.
DT won the GSF HS Open Championship 7v7 tournament with only 10 players this year. Joseph Patterson, a freshman WR/CB from Valley Christian High School and a member of the class of 2026 was named the tournament MVP. Patterson, who also plays basketball as a point guard, shooting guard, and small forward, is a versatile athlete who made a game-changing interception that swung the momentum toward his team. DT held on to win the championship game 13 to 10 against Gold 48s from Nevada.
Amoako’s success as a trainer is a testament to his hard work and dedication. As a collegiate recruit, he was a consensus 3-star athlete and garnered over 16 Division 1 offers. Amoako is currently the Wide Receivers and Special Teams Coordinator at the College of San Mateo junior college, where he continues to develop athletes aspiring to get to the D1 level.
If you want to take your game to the next level, look no further than Stephen Amoako and Train Deliberate. Amoako’s proven track record of success speaks for itself, and he will surely help you achieve your athletic goals.
