De La Salle QB Toa Faavaee scored three touchdowns in his team’s 35-17 win over St. Francis. Seniors Chris Biller, along with Drew Cunningham led the Spartans defense to contain the Lancers’ run attack led by Kingston Keanaaina. Senior RB Andrew Scharrenberg had two big touchdowns for the Lancers but the defense couldn’t stop the Spartans’ run game.

The Spartans will now focus their attention on St. Mary’s, a team that is loaded with speed and talent once again led by now-senior Samson Hunkin, the one responsible for handing them a big loss on the road last season.

St. Francis will have a bye and will open up WCAL play against Archbishop Mitty at home in a couple of weeks.
