GSF Top Dawg XI Results

The GSF Top Dawg XI (TDXI) camp showcased athletic talent across both boys’ and girls’ divisions, marking a historic milestone with the inclusion of girls’ flag football for the first time. Held at Oak Grove High School in San Jose, the camp featured testing under professional Zybek Timing System—the same technology used at the NFL Combine.

Girls’ Flag Football Makes an Impressive Debut

Nine female athletes competed in TDXI’s inaugural girls’ flag football segment, setting benchmarks with impressive performances. Leading the pack was Alex Hanson from Los Gatos, who dominated in both the 40-yard dash and the shuttle run.

In the 40-yard dash, Hanson clocked a blazing 5.37 seconds on her second attempt, improving on her initial 5.43 seconds. She also posted the fastest time in the shuttle run (5-10-5), with an incredible 4.30 seconds on her second try, tying the best overall time of the day.

Other standout performances came from Cece Giguere, who placed second in the 40-yard dash with a 5.62-second run, and Elizabeth Satterfield, who finished second in the shuttle with a time of 4.83 seconds.

Boys Deliver Strong Performances

The boys’ division saw tight competition across both events, with standout efforts in the 40-yard dash and the shuttle run.

  • Dorian Perkins claimed the top spot in the 40-yard dash with a time of 5.00 seconds on his first try.
  • Brian Sagon and Jonah Kroenung (QB, Mitty) followed closely, posting times of 5.04 seconds and 5.09 seconds, respectively.

In the shuttle run, Tino DeSantiago, a lineman from Live Oak (Class of 2027), matched Hanson’s top time of 4.30 seconds, showcasing remarkable agility for his position. Quarterbacks Kroenung and Andrew Heneghan (Serra) rounded out the top three with times of 4.52 seconds and 4.64 seconds, respectively.

Professional-Grade Testing

The use of the Zybek Timing System, known for its precision and use at the NFL Combine, ensured that all results were held to the highest standards. The advanced timing setup, operated by XIOS Gym and Overtime Performance, underscored TDXI’s commitment to providing athletes with an elite testing environment.

Setting a New Standard

TDXI marked a milestone for the GSF Top Dawg Camp, introducing girls’ flag football while maintaining the rigorous standards that make it a staple for high school athletes aiming to prove themselves. With stellar performances across both divisions, the camp highlighted the depth of talent and dedication in today’s young athletes.

As Alex Hanson and Tino DeSantiago shared the day’s fastest shuttle time, and as new records were set, TDXI reaffirmed its place as a premier stage for showcasing the next generation of football stars.
