September 19, 2021 – SFHS vs Los Gatos (Freshman)
#4 Jackson Cahoon vs Los Gatos
5.5 Total Tackles // 2 REC • 20 YDS
Jackson Cahoon played 1/3 of the game against Los Gatos and recorded 5.5 tackles. He played linebacker and was always around the ball. Cahoon also caught two passes from his QB Aaron Knapp including a big, 18-yard first-down catch on 2nd and five from midfield with time winding down in the first half. St. Francis ended up scoring on that drive to take a 6-0 lead at the half. They went on to win 18-7 to improve their record to 2-0.
Watched the @stfrancis_fb freshman take on the @LGHSAthletics freshman team. I’ve been hearing a lot about @JacksonCahoon and @aaronknapp_ and they didn’t disappoint. @stfrancis_fb #2 and @LGHSAthletics #41 showed out as well. 💪🏽💪🏽💯

September 11, 2021 – ‼️JACKSON CAHOON WENT BEAST MODE‼️
#4 Jackson Cahoon vs De La Salle
14 Total Tackles • 3 TFL • 11 Solo • Forced Fumble • Fumble Rec • Sack • QB Hurry
The Cahoon / Knapp Era at St. Francis has officially got underway Friday afternoon. Best friends since the age of 5, Jackson Cahoon and Aaron Knapp’s St. Francis Lancers debut was a memorable one. Cahoon led the defense with 14 total tackles while Aaron orchestrated the run game and completed four passes for 51 yards. The Lancers’ freshman team beat De La Salle 21-7 and to cap off the night, the varsity ended a 30-year-old streak by beating the Spartans 31-28 in front of a sold-out crowd.
Four years ago, that same varsity team beat De La Salle as freshman. And if history repeats itself, Cahoon and Knapp have something very special to look forward to but surely, their goals are a lot bigger than just beating one team.

“Been playing tackle football since age 7. Football is in my family as my dad played LB at Sac State. My brother plays it, my mom and sister love the game too! I Love the game, I love to study the game and I love that the game allows me to play with violent intent. I work hard off the field as well with an Average 3.5 GPA.
I also wrestled and played basketball through middle school. Started flag football at age 4, pop Warner at age 7, and played baseball. I went undefeated in wrestling and went to FL for the Pop Warner Super Bowl on two teams.
My love for the game and my work ethic are the two things that set me apart.”
