The Cougars went up by two scores early in the first quarter with James Goodrich’s pair to Cole Sabala touchdowns. Senior defensive ends Branden Clark and Miguel Rangle tagged teamed the Live Oak’s backfield multiple times. The Acorns didn’t get on the board until the mid-fourth quarter after a long run by Mosiah Saulala down the left side on a screen followed by sophomore Jordan Fuentes’ sweep run for a touchdown.
