NO OFFER YET??? Saldate’s Recruiting Stock Rises After 7v7 Performance

July 27, 2021 –
He’s only an incoming sophomore and he’s making plays like a senior for his team already. Logan Saldate is a definite playmaker and he showed what he can do with his own QB, 3-Star National Recruit Luke Rossi throwing him the rock. Palma head football coach Jeff Carnazzo had some high praises for his super sophomore. According to the long-time Chieftains coach, Saldate is the first player in his 20+ years of coaching to play varsity as a freshman at Palma high. Saldate played well last season and was “oftentimes the best player on the field.” With Palma’s very talented group of seniors plus Saldate, they should go as far as an undefeated year. But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. Carnazzo thinks the line will determine how good his team will be and if they can match the skilled guys we’ve seen so far, Palma’s 2021 football season should end mid-December in one of the CIF State Championships bowl games.

Rising Star Saldate Of Palma Balled Out At The RVC Showcase

July 21, 2021 –
Day 1: Sophomore Logan Saldate turned in a solid scouting report based on his performance. He was athletic, quick, had good hands, able to get open with his route running skills. QBs didn’t have trouble finding him, open.
Day 2: Saldate upgraded his report after a killer game one performance where he electrified the tournament with multiple scores including a game-winner. He also showed how he can take on double, and triple teams and make the catch in tight coverage, credit the QBs for putting the trust on Saldate. He showed off his strong hands and competitiveness coming thru clutch in certain situations he was needed. Aside from 5-Star National Recruit Jurrion Dickey, Logan Saldate was the second-best athlete at the RVC. He definitely deserves a 3-Star rating for his ability to play at a high level from the wideout or slot receiver position. His varsity freshman season at Palma is also a testament to him as a playmaker on defense. Saldate started a few games and made most of his contribution as a defender. He will be a huge part of the Chieftains game plan on both sides of the ball this Fall of 2021.
As far as the RVC, Saldate recorded the most TD grabs and probably the most reception in the tournament as well. He played for SF Quality who went 5-1 in the prelims and got the number 1 seed in the playoffs. Saldate, along with his tournament QB Chase Vehmeyer led SF Quality all the way to the finals where they ended up losing to team BTA who had 5-star national recruit Jurrion Dickey. Both Chase and Logan are also part of KT Prep, a well-known developmental organization in NorCal famous for their nationally ranked 7v7 squad.
