Parker Threatt is one of the best athletes we saw in the off-season, and his hard work behind the scenes is starting to pay off. Bellarmine is set to take on Riordan this coming Saturday, and the Boys in Blue are ready to attack the mission.

“Triple Threatt” – BCP Sophomore Athlete Parker Threatt Is Next

June 2022 – Bellarmine Bells’ sophomore athlete Parker Threatt finished top 5 in all of the testing events at the GSF Top Dawg Camp. He finished first in the 40-yard Dash with a time of 4.61, the 3-Cone Drill(7.09), and the Shuttle(4.61).

GSF Top Dawg was a two-day event held at Oak Grove High School. Most of the participants are underclassmen from the South Bay Area. Well-known trainers and gym owners Marcus Romo of Overtime Performance and XIOS Andrew DeLa Cruz executed the camp’s testing stations.

On Day 2, Threatt showed off his versatility as a QB and a WR/DB combo. He led the day with four INTs. His team “BANG, Get It Over Wit” won the Top Dawg 7v7 Tournament under head coach Dante Funtila.

Funtila is a beloved football coach from the South Bay whose approach to the game is somewhat old-school and advanced. He’s been coaching for over 15 years. Coach Dante’s dynamic, positive personality is what keeps his players engaged and willing to work towards perfection and execution.

Parker is also one of the team captains for the GSF 5-Star 7v7 team, also coached by Funtila. The team is made up of mostly Bellarmine players with a few from Palma High, St. Francis, and Los Gatos. GSF 5-Star won the big end-of-the-season tournament, the GSF Open Championship two weeks prior to the camp.

This Fall, Parker hopes to compete for a starting spot at QB. But don’t be surprised if you see him chasing down a ball carrier or running down a deep pass with his play-making capability. BCP can definitely use him anywhere on offense, defense, and special teams.

Sophomore Parker Threatt is doing whatever it takes to be an elite QB. He will be competing for the starting role in the Fall for the Bellarmine Bells. Threatt is currently the starting QB of the GSF 5-Star 7v7 team. He led his team from an 0-4 start two weeks ago to a 6-1 performance, including a championship appearance and a runner-up finish in the GSF Top Gun 7v7 Tournament.
