‼️OFFICIAL HIGHLIGHTS‼️ St. Bonaventure vs Riordan | GetSportsFocus

Riordan hosted St. Bonaventure in a NorCal vs SoCal showdown at their home turf. Both teams featured some future college stars. Execution was the difference maker and the team that made the least amount of mistakes eventually won this game.

The Seraphs had a powerful run game led by Sophomore Jayce Franco and Koen Glover, a junior. CB Drew Cofield defended one of the best WR in the nation, highly recruited, 4-star athlete Chris Lawson. Cofield took a badly punted ball late in the fourth quarter and returned it for a 35 yard score.

Despite catching two touchdowns from sophomore QB Michael Mitchell, Lawson’s efforts wasnt enough as the Crusaders gave up numerous field positions due to penalties. Riordan will have a couple of weeks to prepare for one of their City rivals, the St. Ignatius Wildcats who are on a roll heading into the WCAL after loosing their home opener agaisnt San Ramon Valley.
