Head Coach Mike Machado’s Warriors remained unbeaten after defeating the Bellarmine Bells in front of a sold-out crow on homecoming night. Valley Christian’s defense was led by Remy Hernandez and they limited the Bells to just one score.
QB Joseph Stephens was the game-changer who scored a touchdown on a third and long play to stretch the Warriors lead to 16-7. Marcell Legget added one more late in the game after the defense denied Bellarmine to convert on 4th and 1. Hernandez was the one who made the stop that led to the game-sealing tackle.
