🏈 2025 GSF “Stand Up and Support Anti-Bullying and Suicide Prevention”

Senior Football & Girls Flag All-Star Games

Congratulations, All-Stars!!!

You’ve been selected to participate in the 2025 GSF Stand Up and Support Anti-Bullying and Suicide Prevention Senior All-Star Games — an honor recognizing your hard work, leadership, and excellence both on and off the field.

This annual event brings together the Bay Area’s best student-athletes to celebrate sportsmanship, teamwork, and our shared commitment to making a positive difference. Together, we stand against bullying and raise awareness for suicide prevention — proving that true leadership extends beyond the game.

To confirm your roster spot, please review the qualifications and important dates below. Your parent or guardian must complete the official confirmation form by the deadline.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 3.0 GPA

Upload a screenshot or document showing your GPA through the confirmation form.
If you do not currently have a 3.0 GPA, you may submit your end-of-junior-year transcript.
Questions regarding GPA eligibility may be directed to Alf Joaquin (contact below).
Starter or Coach-Approved Standout

You must be a starter on your high school team, or your coach must confirm that you are a well-deserving player to represent your school in this All-Star experience.
Parent/Guardian Confirmation Required

Even if you are 18 years old, your parent or guardian must fill out your confirmation form.
Questions about this process can be directed to Alf Joaquin.

Equipment Use

Athletes can borrow helmets, shoulder pads, and pants pads from their high school. Please let your Head Coach and Athletic Director know ahead of time so that you can keep your gear for the All-Star experience. This is standard practice.

If you have any questions about equipment, please contact Alf Joaquin (contact information below).

Other required equipment includes a mouthpiece for all practices and on game day.

Football players must also wear football pants pads, which include hip and butt pads, thigh pads, and knee pads.
Game uniforms are provided by GetSportsFocus, and the only item we will need returned after the game are the game pants.
There will be a return bin in the locker room for you to drop them off before leaving.
More detailed instructions will follow as we get closer to game day.

Girls Flag Football Equipment
The required equipment for practice and game participation includes a mouthpiece, and an optional skull cap or padded headgear. The headgear may be issued by your high school or purchased independently. GSF is currently exploring the possibility of providing headgear to our girls flag football players, and we will share an update as soon as it becomes available. Coaches will provide the flags for all athletes.

Participation and Fundraising

Participation in the 2025 GSF All-Star Games is completely free for all selected athletes.

To help support the event and offset expenses, each family will be asked to take part in our annual All-Star Raffle fundraiser.
We typically ask each athlete to sell two to three raffle tickets. It is optional but highly encouraged. Thank you in advance for your help

There will be big-ticket prizes available this year — details about the prizes, ticket prices, and distribution process will be shared as we get closer to December.

As part of this year’s successful raffle fundraising, we’re excited to announce that all athletes will receive personalized game jerseys to wear during the All-Star Game and keep afterward as a special souvenir of their experience.

Your participation in this fundraiser directly helps GSF continue to celebrate and promote Bay Area student-athletes through positive, community-driven events.
