Class of 2023 QB Matthew Fuqua was one of the GSF 5-Star 7v7 QBs this off-season. He split times with Bellarmine’s Parker Threatt and together, led the team to the end of the season championship tournament title.

Fuqua will have one of the best WR in the nation to throw to this Fall in 3-Star National Recruit Logan Saldate. Saldate is s double edge sword who can crate havoc as a receiver and as well as a defensive back.

Matt’s ability to rise to the challenge is his strength. He showed it multiple times at the 7v7 tournaments he competed in. He’s looking to lead his team and surprise the rest of the Pacific Coast – Gabilan league and the CCS with his boys. Palma will open up the 2022 season on the road against Mitty on August 26th.
