‼️OFFICIAL HIGHLIGHTS‼️ Hollister Haybalers vs Oak Grove Eagles

Oak Grove had high hopes for their season opener against Hollister. But things didn’t quite work out as planned. Not just yet. Coach Joel Cordero, the new head football coach, has the tools. They just need to figure out how to work together and build up from there. The Eagles have a young squad with a handful of standout seniors, including Tayshawn Sanders. Expect OG to ramp up production as the seasons go.

Hollister, formerly known as San Benito, came up to San Jose with a solid squad and a much higher number regarding the roster. They were led by senior Michael Reyes, who scored three times in the Haybalers’ shut-out win over the Eagles. Perhaps the turning point of the game came early in the third when senior Jayden Pritchett made an acrobatic interception that turned into a score that extended the lead 14-0. The big test is next Thursday night when they square off against the reigning NorCal D2-A champions Wilcox on the road for the GSF Week #2 Game of the Week.
