‼️OFFICIAL HIGHLIGHTS‼️ Menlo-Atherton vs St. Francis (CCS Fall 2021)

A very impressive 49-28 win for the St. Francis Lancers over the Menlo-Atherton Bears in the CCS D1 Semis after being down 14-0 in the first half. The Bears definitely cornered the Lancers for most of the first half and exposed the secondary but it only lasted for about 22 minutes. Nicolas Andrighetto picked off a Mat Matt McLeod pass with less than two minutes left in the first half and started the Lancers’ domination on defense. M-A did not score again until late in the third quarter.

Unlike the other games, where we see Viliami “JuJu” Teu scoring left and right, it was Camilo Arquette’s night. When St. Francis couldn’t do much on offense, they turned to him and he carried the team on his back literally. Arquette rushed for 113 yards on 17 carries and scored three touchdowns. But his key contribution was an interception right after scoring his first TD. He would then score again within seconds to put St. Francis up ahead for good.

This game was a historic win for the Lancers with JuJu breaking the St. Francis’ season record for touchdowns and points. As a team, the 2021 Lancers broke the team record for Rushing TDs scored in a Season. St. Francis advances to play in the CCS D1 finals against the winner of the Serra vs Bellarmine game tomorrow.
